At Century Bathrooms & Kitchens, we believe every home deserves craftsmanship that lasts. Based in Fairfax, Virginia, our team has earned the trust of homeowners across Northern Virginia by turning lackluster or outdated bathrooms and kitchens into beautiful, functional spaces fit for the people who use them.
Our Story
Century Bathrooms & Kitchens is a family-owned and run company in Fairfax, VA. Daniel Ptak (President & Founder) started out renovating and managing properties in the early 1990s, working directly with the trades and learning what makes a bathroom or kitchen function well. His background as a Master Plumber shaped the company’s focus on durability, efficiency, and design that fits real use.
As the business grew, Erika Ptak (Vice President) joined and strengthened the client-focused side of the company. Her years as a school counselor shaped the way CBK works with homeowners (using clear communication, steady guidance, and respect for each person’s concerns throughout the remodeling process). Together, Daniel and Erika built a team that stays involved, pays attention, and treats each project like it matters.
Today, Century Bathrooms continues to serve homeowners throughout Fairfax County, Loudoun County, and Prince William County as one of Northern Virginia’s trusted remodeling experts. CBK remains intentionally small so every client works with the same people from start to finish.

Meet Our Team
Daniel Ptak
President
Daniel is a licensed Master Plumber and the founder of CBK. He began his career in the remodeling industry in 1993, when he formed a property management company as a vehicle to renovate and manage properties. Always an entrepreneur at heart, he decided to build a business with an exclusive focus on remodeling bathrooms. In 2011, Daniel further expanded his business by opening a showroom in Fairfax, with complete bathroom and kitchen displays. In 2014, Century Bathrooms Inc. became Century Bathrooms and Kitchens, and 3 complete kitchen displays were added to the showroom. Daniel is dedicated to educating clients about the remodeling process and uses his expertise to recommend functional designs and quality products to build the best bathrooms and kitchens. Daniel lives in Bristow, VA, with his wife, Erika, and their two children.
Erika Ptak
Vice President
Erika joined CBK in 2015 and has been actively involved in working with clients and overseeing the implementation of marketing strategies at CBK. Prior to 2015, Erika was an Elementary School Counselor for 10 years, with a Master’s Degree in Counselor Education from the College of William and Mary. She has utilized her skills as a counselor to maintain and build meaningful and positive relationships with her clients. She strives to meet a high level of client satisfaction by serving as an effective liaison between installers and clients to ensure that all projects are completed efficiently and successfully. Erika enjoys reading, writing, and traveling. Erika lives in Bristow, VA, with her husband, Daniel, and their two children.
